Perm City Administration prepares for XVI contest for socially significant projects “We are the city”

Advisory committee discussed organizational issues of the next contest for socially significant projects on a meeting today, January 30. The majority of the committee members – are representatives of non-governmental organizations. Two major issues have been resolved at the meeting: the list of nominations and composition of the contest committee.

Public relations advisory committee started its work under auspices of Vice Head of Perm City Administration Alexey Gribanov. During this year the committee is working on the execution of the “Public involvedness” program, aimed to connect non-governmental and non-commercial organizations with the city government. The program includes not only “We are the city” project, but many others events, organized and out together by the committee.

City Department of Social Policy noted that Advisory Committee work strengthens connection with non-governmental organizations and provides peer assessment. Commission is composed not only of government representatives, but also members of non-profit and civic organizations.
